Abstract: | Initial evaluation was by panning of stream sediment samples, collection of 7 BLEG samples and 17 rock chip samples - the latter only returned one value above detection limit, ie. 0.55 ppm Au. Acacia Resources joint ventured into the tenement and acquired the available multiclient aeromagnetic data, and subsequently gridded the area and evaluated the licence with regional soil sampling using a 400 m line spacing. Subsequent follow up sampling was completed. Results indicated occasional spot high values within zones of low anomalism. Two gravity readings were obtained in the licence. In the final year, further geophysical interpretations were completed and with the results of the soil sampling conducted it was apparent that no zones of interest worthy of further work were within the licence. |
