Abstract: | Four areas of anomalism previously obtained were further tested by RAB drilling in the second year. Anomaly 35 has outcropping quartz veining within a gneiss. Anomalism was obtained at shallow intersections of the quartz vein ie 6m at 0.23g/t Au. A linear magnetic anomaly was tested at the Dunnart Extension prospect, again greiss was intersected and mylonitic material, maximum value of 5ppb Au was obtained. At AN68 fourteen RAB holes were completed with a maximum result of 10ppb Au. At the Fold Closure prospect 28 holes were completed with greiss being commonly intersected, although one sample intersected a graphitic schist with elevated Zn and Pb. |
