Abstract: | The tenement overlies the Burrell Creek Formation of the Finniss River Group. The Mount Bonnie Formation sediments crop out further north of the Licence, but are constrained within the Enterprise fold that plunges south through EL 23583. Meta-sediments in the project area are intruded by the Table Top, Allamber Springs, and McCarthys Granites and are responsible for the development of contact aureole which contains most of the gold mineralisation. During the current reporting period seven grab samples for gold assay were taken. Work to date has included a review of historic exploration and mining data over EL 23583. The review of this data did not indicate any targets to follow up in the foreseeable future. The decision to allow the lease to expire has been made based on this data review and the returned gold assay results from the seven samples taken. |
