Abstract: The Limbla prospect is located 150 km east from Alice Springs encompassing the Hale River, downstream (S-E) from Ruby Gap Reserve and N N-E from Ringwood Station. Oneva Exploration Pty Ltd (Oneva) initially targeted six main feature areas on Satellite imagery with potential for gold, iron, manganese and nickel-zinc-copper mineralisation. A batch of 37 orientation soil and 3 rockchip samples returned low order results. Consultant geomorphologist/geologist Richard Russell reviewed the assay data and determined element groups yielding the highest assay responses. This work identified: (1) A possible deep-seated mantle intrusive structure named Hill Zero. (2) A paleaochannel fragment of the Hale River named Atlantis. (3) Brecciated ultramafic rock, possibly kimberlite, at Atlantis. Heavy rainfall and flooding then washed out further work for the first year licence term. Following a prolonged wet season, unfortunately no further work was completed. As we have not been able to secure further funding for this area, although a number of mineral companies expressed an interest, we have now surrendered the area.
