EL 26907 Bootu Creek Project Annual and final report for EL 26907 for the period 6 May 2009 to 5 May 2013

Abstract

EL 26907 was granted to OM (Manganese) Limited on May 6th, 2009. The principal activity for year 4 was a structural assessment of aeromagnetic and radiometric survey data (flown in Year 2), along with existing geophysical and geological data from adjacent tenure, to resolve structural issues and identify favourable geological settings to host manganese deposits, potentially occurring in the Morphett Creek Formation dolomitic units of the Lower Proterozoic Tomkinson Creek Group. No manganese mineralisation has been identified to date and following the structural assessment and subsequent field inspection, a decision was made to surrender EL 26907 in its entirety. OMM was unable to achieve AAPA clearance for the western half of EL 26907 within a reasonable time frame.
