Abstract: MC 27986 was granted to Nicole Adamson and Antony Zebisch on the 6th December 2010. MC 27986 was applied for to explore for the potential of gold mineralisation. Initial exploration involved several field trips to access the area and to determine the best course of initial exploration. During the life of the claim selective rock chip sampling was undertaken to determine the presence of mineralised outcrop. A ground magnetic survey was also conducted totalling 3km of lines with 25m line spacing. MC 27986 is underlain by sediments of the Burrell Creek formation with extensive Quaternary cover. The sequence is primarily composed of a greywacke siltstone sequence, with subordinate mudstones and quartzite. Mineralisation is structurally controlled within faulting and anticlinal folding. Rock chip sampling revealed potential for high grade Au mineralisation with the area. Ground magnetics data showed anomalous results that warrant further work, including drilling. Further work is required in this area. The title was refused renewal.
