Abstract: | EL26139 was part of a group of twelve (12) tenements comprising the Murphy Project in the northeastern part of the Northern Territory. Bondi Mining Limited is conducting exploration for unconformity and sedimentary hosted uranium mineralisation, analagous to the unconformity deposits of the East Alligator River Region (e.g. Jabiluka) of the Northern Territory, and the Westmoreland deposit in northwestern Queensland respectively. Exploration during the 2012 field season comprised extensive data review including reassessment of geophysical data pertinent to the Goblin magnetic anomaly which straddles EL's 26138 and 26139. A Transient Electro Magnetic (TEM) survey comprising 13.5 line kilometres was completed over the NW end of the Goblin anomaly and did not extend into EL 26139, as the SE portion of the target models as being deeper. The TEM survey did not locate a significant EM conductor and no further work is planned. EL 26138 and 26139 were surrendered on 14th December 2012. |
