Phosphate exploration work on Whistle Duck in 2012 consisted of focused drill targeting, 8.03 km of line clearing, reconnaissance reverse circulation drilling and drill site and track rehabilitation of all disturbed sites. A Geophysical Basin Modelling Study done in 2011 was used in conjunction with NTGS mapping to gain a better understanding of the Georgina Basin and assist with phosphate drill targeting. Four (4) RC drill holes were completed on ELs 27990 and 27991, targeting basement highs and NTGS gum ridge formation rocks, totalling 182 m and gathering 93 2m composite QA/QC samples. A mapping program gathering (21) samples was completed on the Whistle Duck tenements in 2012. A few of the samples returned high values for iron but did not return any significant phosphate. No significant phosphate ore zones have been defined on the Whistle Duck tenements. For that reason, the decision was made to surrender the Whistle Duck tenements.en_US
