Mount Peake Project, Partial relinquishment report 9 August 2010 to 8 August 2012, EL 27787

Abstract

Exploration carried out on EL 27787 during the first two years of tenure has mainly been of a regional nature. A literature review was carried out for the entire area of EL 27787 in the first year of tenure. A grab sample collected by CRA on the southern boundary of the licence returned values of 850ppm Cu. The regional magnetic data over the Mount Peake project area covers the entire area of EL 27787. The data displays part of a magnetic high zone within the north eastern portion of the licence. The greater portion of the magnetic high falls within EL 27941 and drill testing has taken place. Both these target areas have been retained with the majority of the relinquished area being subject to restricted access as outlined by the Central Land Council and Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority.
