Abstract: | Phosphate Australia has conducted an in-house review of all available open-file data pertaining to EL 26966 and EL 27956 delineating areas of potential phosphate and uranium mineralisation prior to conducting fieldwork. A reconnaissance helicopter-supported field mapping and geochemical sampling campaign was planned commencing early May 2011. The prolonged and extremely intense wet season prevented this field work being undertaken. This work was then planned for the dry-season of 2012 but was cancelled after a Board review of the project. As a result, Phosphate Australia has not conducted any on-ground exploration activity during the reporting period and the permits have now been surrendered. |
