Abstract: | EL 25229 is 120km south of Darwin (by road). Territory Uranium Company Ltd applied for EL 25229 to explore for uranium mineralisation. The tenement was reduced at the end of year 2, 3, 4 and 5 with 95 blocks retained at the end of year 5. This report details all the work done on the blocks relinquished in year 5. Work during Year 1 of tenure consisted of a review of both NTGS data and geophysical data. A list of previous Tenure was compiled. Work during Year 2 included a full assessment of uranium targets within 3 Daly River Project tenements EL 25222, EL 25223 and EL 25229, followed by a helicopter reconnaissance program, no samples were taken from the relinquished ground. During Year 3, geochemical sampling was undertaken at two new prospects on EL 25229 but none from the relinquished ground. No work was undertaken on the relinquished ground from Years 3 to 5 with exploration focussing on the quantum, Wild Card and Area 16 prospects. |
