First and final report for the period 25 February 2011 to 24 February 2012

Abstract

The tenement EL 28181 (Lake Nash) is located in the southern Georgina Basin, 360km north-east of Alice Springs and being explored for manganese. During the reporting period Aquila undertook compilation of open file reports and historical exploration results including assembling of regional geological and geophysical datasets into a GIS, Landsat data purchase and image enhancement, initiated land owner access negotiations and completed target generation. Several spectral targets potentially pertaining to manganese mineralisation were identified. A strategic review of the project including mineralisation potential was completed and it was recommended that the project be surrendered.
