Author: | Draper, JM |
Abstract: | During the second year of tenure there was a wide ranging reconnaissance rock chip and soil sampling program conducted on the licence with some 334 samples taken and submitted for assay. Of the rock chip results obtained the highest phosphate value was 0.46% P2O5 with the majority being 0.01%P2O5. Of the B horizon soil samples the highest P2O5 value was 0.04%P2O5. Of interest is the fact that the soils for the most part contained measurable amounts of phosphate with the results rarely being below detection limit. The proposed drilling program should also help to calibrate the soil values as well. |
