Title: | Partial relinquishment report for period ending 12 June 2011 |
Title Holder / Company: | Flinders Mines |
Report id: | CR2011-0799 |
Tenure: | SEL25055; SEL25056 |
Year: | 2011 |
Author: | Davey, G |
Abstract: | From the work done on this area it does not appear to be prospective for hard rock uranium. Elevated levels of uranium do occur in many of the metamorphic rocks and pegmatites in the area, but they do not approach economic concentrations. These rocks would make excellent protore, but a hydrothermal mineralizing event does not appear to have taken place. |
