Abstract: EL 24403 is situated about 40 km NE of Pine Creek and approximately 120 km SE of Darwin. EL 24403 was applied for by a syndicate of Teelow, Orridge and Pinniger on 23 September 2004 and was granted on 8 September 2005 for a period of 6 years. It then had 227 graticluar blocks covering an area of approximately 757 km2. To meet NT Mining Act requirements, 56 blocks of EL 24403 were surrendered on 28 February 2011, leaving behind 171 blocks which covers 570.24 km2. During the years under review, EL 24403 has been explored moderately. It mainly involved collection and limited processing of previous open file data acquired from NT Geological Survey, Darwin. It involved open file historical exploration reports, airborne radiometric and magnetic data and remote sensing imaginary. A few field reconnaissance trips were conducted for ground-truthing. Appraisal of data and field trips did find any mineral potential in the NW of the tenement, and as a result of that NW 56 blocks of the tenement were relinquished.
