Abstract: | Western Desert Resources is targeting the Sherwin Ironstone Member of the Mesoproterozoic Roper Bar Group for iron ore mineralisation. The Sherwin Ironstone Member is interpreted to be absent in the relinquished portion of the tenement, which is the reason for relinquishment of this area. An Authority Certificate was obtained from the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority which did not identify any Restricted Work Areas within the tenement. However, no geological work has been carried out on the relinquished parts of the exploration licence. |
