Abstract: | EL 7911 was granted to Otter Gold NL on 10 June 1998. EL 7911 is located at the WA/NT boundary in the Tanami Desert region, approximately 620 km NW of Alice Springs. EL 7911 was explored by ATH as part of its Gardiner Range Project, which is considered to be prospective for gold mineralisation similar to the Tanami, Twin Bonanza, Old Pirate and Groundrush deposits. In December 2009, ABM Resources NL purchased EL 7911 from ATH. No on-ground exploration was conducted during the last year of term. Over the thirteen years of tenure exploration was completed by OGNL and ATH. It included two surface sampling programs; regional 400m x 400m lag sampling, in 1998; and rock chip and soil sampling in 2000. The maximum over all assay result from the surface sampling was 0.06ppm Au from rock chip sample 188. The maximum soil sample assay result was 0.0044ppb Au from sample 971479. All previous exploration has been outlined in the preceding annual reports. |
