Final relinquishment report for EL 24884 Batchelor

Abstract

EL 24884 is SE of the Batchelor township. Territory Uranium Company Pty Ltd is exploring for Uranium, Nickel, Gold and Base Metals in the Northern Territory, and applied for EL 24884 due to its proximity to Rum Jungle U mineral occurrences. One block was relinquished at the end of the second year, another at the end of year 4 and then the tenement was relinquished at the end of year 5. A total of 25 soil samples 12 rock chips and 58 auger holes (106 samples, 46 of which were assayed) were completed on the tenement. Anomalous uranium results were returned from the rock chip sampling in year 3 and subsequently a gridded soil program was completed but no significant results were returned.
