Abstract: EL 25898 was granted on 7 November 2008 to Corporate Developments Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Outback Metals Ltd) for 5 years. On the second anniversary of EL 25898, Section 26 of the Mining Act requires that the area be reduced by at least half at this time. EL 25898 was reduced by 6 blocks. Since granted previous exploration data has been aquired. In addition, Tempest data was acquired covering EL 25898 from Geoscience Australia from their recently completed programme. A reconnaissance visit to the area was also made. The area contains sediment of the Bathurst Island Formation overlying White Formation and Mt Bonnie Formation.EL 25898 was granted on 7 November 2008 for exploration for uranium and iron ore (hematite). The tenement is located on the margin of Rum Jungle Complex, which contains sedimentary sequences of Mesoproterozoic/Paleoproterozic age. Work carried out included following up reports on previous exploration data, a reconnaissance field visit, acquisition of Geoscience Geotem and Tempest Data and processing of said data. These blocks were relinquished due to low prospectively. No more field work has been completed during the time of this report.
