Title: Final report on EL 24142 Mt Ringwood 4 October 2004 to 3 October 2010
Title Holder / Company: Australasia Gold

Abstract: In year one a review was undertaken of public domain geotechnical information and historic exploration reporting pertaining to the EL and the surrounding region. A reconnaissance scale field inspection was undertaken in order to familiarise Company personnel with the regolith and field conditions and make initial contact with landowners. In year two interpretation of public domain regional magnetic - radiometric dataset to refine the Y1 interpretation. Orientation biogeochemical surveys were designed and commissioned through Adelaide University research team for implementation in Y3. In year three ACL conducted orientation biogeochemical sampling traverse, sampling leaves of trees, grasses and termite mound material. Biogeochemical orientation included the identification, sampling and analysis of biota over known gold deposits (Johns Hill, just south of the EL boundary) and across its perceived strike extension, on the flood plain. Also completed four reconnaissance aircore drill traverses sampling floodplain sediment and underlying basement across magnetic targets - 84 holes, 1500m. Year four consisted of several fence-traverses of angled air core holes across the anomaly identified in Y3 - 93 holes, 2154m. No significant work in year five and six.
