| Abstract: | Rio Tinto Exploration (RTX) completed thirteen air-core drill holes along a north-south trending track prepared for access to EL 22707 in 2006. Of those thirteen holes six fall within the relinquished area. Results from the six holes were deemed non-bauxitic, with the highest value for Al2O3 being 25.2%. Exploration completed during the reporting period included access negotiations and work programme clearances; helicopter based reconnaissance drainage gravel and stream sampling, a botanical survey; track construction; and an aircore drilling programme. |
