Title Holder / Company: | Excelsior Gold |
Report id: | CR2010-0978 |
Tenure: | EL24249 |
Year: | 2010 |
Author: | Hamlyn, D |
Abstract: | During the final year of the licence term a review of the HyVista hyperspectral scanning survey which was flown in April 2008, was undertaken to delineate further targets for evaluation. No new targets were defined and no further ground work was undertaken. EL 24249 has some remaining potential for the discovery of nickel sulphide and copper mineralization associated with mafic/ultramafic intrusives within the licence area. Prospectivity for uranium mineralisation is regarded as low and no further uranium exploration is recommended. The tenement was allowed to expire on the 8 December 2010. |
