Title: | Annual report on EL 27441 Collai 24 December 2009 to 23 December 2010 |
Title Holder / Company: | Crossland Mines Crossland Uranium |
Report id: | CR2010-0962 |
Tenure: | EL27441 |
Year: | 2010 |
Author: | Melville, PM |
Abstract: | The ground is considered prospective for vein style and unconformity related uranium deposits. The presence of a major regional fault combined with middle proterozoic rocks, which are possibly correlatible with the Tolmer Group, are positive elements for the discovery of these types of deposits in the underlying basement. No on-ground work was carried out within the licence during the 12 month period. For the first year of exploration, Crossland had planned to fly the entire licence package with a Mag-Rad Survey. The timing of the 'initial' meetings (July and October 2010) with Traditional Owners involving two of the applications (and the subsequent veto decisions) made it too late in the season to plan and execute a modified survey. Total expenditure for EL 27441 for the first year of tenure was $3,106.75 |
