Abstract: | EL 25416 was granted to Corporate Developments P/L (a subsidiary of Outback Metals Ltd) on 20/8/2007 for a term of 6 years. Since the licence was granted, previous exploration data and Tempest data (covering EL 25416) from Geoscience Australia have been acquired. A reconnaissance visit to the area was made and a helicopter survey was also carried out over the tenement. Accordingly a flight was made at 30-40m altitude and at about 50kts from Mount Nancar in the south to the Mount Thomas area in the north. Several weak total count radiometric anomalies were detected but these were not considered to be worthy of ground follow-up. At the second anniversary of the licence, the area was reduced from sixteen to eight subblocks in accordance with the requirements of the Mining Act. |
