| Abstract: | The Curtis Pound Project covers Proterozoic rocks of the Tennant Inlier and contains a number of identified radiometric anomalies. A review of the geological data and previous exploration reports, reconnaissance ground exploration and rock chip sampling to check access and the validity of open file data was conducted during Year 1 and 2. Systematic locating and checking of prospects and reviewing open file data continued during Year 3 exploration. Failure to locate some of the open file prospects and difficult access led to a reduction in size of the tenement from 227 to 113 graticular blocks and subsequent surrender of the remaining licence area on 15 July, 2010 in Year 4. |
