Title: | Partial relinquishment report, blocks 709 H and N and 710 A, October 2009 |
Title Holder / Company: | Manasia Mining and Metals Ron Gregory Prospecting |
Report id: | CR2009-1166 |
Tenure: | EL25747 |
Year: | 2009 |
Author: | Gregory, R |
Abstract: | EL 25747 (26sq. km) was granted to Manasia Mining and Metals Pty Ltd. on the 28 September 2007, for a period of 5 years. At the end of year 2 a reduction was required and the licence reduced to approximately 22 sq km. The granted tenement provides limited opportunity for stratabound lead/zinc mineralization in the Koolpin Formation, similar to the Woodcutters Mine nearby. A literature review and reassessment of available aeromagnetics was commissioned by Simon Tear of Hellman and Schofield. The relinquished area is regarded as unprospective for the lead/zinc mineralization being targeted. No on ground field work was conducted, so rehabilitation is not required. |
