Partial relinquishment report for EL 10229, 11 May 2007 to 10 May 2010

Abstract

This report outlines exploration activities undertaken by North Australian Diamonds Limited on EL 10229 between the 11 May 2007 and 10 May 2010. EL 10229 was first applied for by De Beers Australia Exploration Pty Ltd (DBAE) on 11 November 1998. A new Exploration Licence number was allocated and on 11 May 2007. EL 10229 was granted for a period of six years. In 2007, TEU entered into a farmin agreement with NADL to earn the right to all non diamond minerals. These rights were purchased from NADL in early 2009. EL 10229 is situated on Milingimbi (SD53-02) 1:250,000 geological mapsheet and the Cadell (5772) 1:100,000 topographic map sheets in the Northern Territory. During the reporting period a total of 3 reconnaissance stream samples were collected by NADL. Processing of these samples returned negative results.
