Abstract: | This report covers exploration work carried out by Altura Exploration Pty Ltd (formerly Australian Tantalum Pty Ltd), a wholly owned subsidiary of Altura Mining Ltd (formerly Haddington Resources Ltd) over three relinquished blocks of EL 26469. A 400m spaced reconnaissance mapping program was initiated in late 2008 and 61 rock chip samples were taken (most of these were from the Mammoth, Arltunga and Jenny's Prospects). One of these samples was located within the surrendered portion of EL 26469. Sample 110365 returned very low levels of tin and tantalum, and no further work was completed. No significant pegmatite outcrops were located within the surrendered portion of EL 26469, and three blocks were subsequently relinquished. |
