Title: | Partial relinquishment report for EL 26220 Edith River Project |
Title Holder / Company: | Eastbourne Exploration Resource Star |
Report id: | CR2009-1067 |
Tenure: | EL26220 |
Year: | 2009 |
Author: | Evans, R |
Abstract: | EL 26220 is part of Resource Star's Edith River Project, granted on 16 November, 2007, and covers the strike extensions of uranium channel anomalous features in EL 23568. Resource Star's exploration activity has been severely reduced since mid 2008 due to market conditions limiting the availability of funds for small explorers no work other than regional interpretation and desk-top data assessment was completed for the area relinquished. The decision as to which area to retain was based on regional geophysics and remote sensing data. The area relinquished has limited uranium channel response and is considered to have less likelihood of possible strike extensions from the nearby target. The potential mineralisation styles considered by RSL include IOCG and vein-hosted uranium. |
