Abstract: | I refer to your letter dated 27 October 2009 regarding the above mentioned mineral titles. The above titles, surrendered on 19 February 2009, have not been actively explored by the title holders for at least tens years. Some geologists within the company have even suggested it may be more like twenty years. Given this timeframe it has been extremely difficult to find people that were associated with the project still within the company and also extremely difficult to find hard copy evidence of work completed on these titles. Archive documents are only kept for a maximum of seven to ten years. I can confirm that the current Australian Exploration Manager and the current District Geologist have tried to locate data and old reports relating to the surrendered titles but have been unsuccessful. They have searched both the Perth and Brisbane offices and have not been able to locate relevant reports or data. A search of the archive system has also been unsuccessful at locating the requested information. |
