Title: Annual report for EL 25893 Mount Tolmer West for the second year ending 10 October 2009
Title Holder / Company: Outback Metals
Report id: CR2009-0992
Tenure: EL25893
Year: 2009
Author: Fraser, WJ
Abstract: During the second year of exploration Outback Metals examined the previous exploration reports in more detail and carried out modelling of the existing airborne geophysical data. Further work was delayed until the results of the GA AEM survey became available in September 2009. The airborne radiometric data indicate that there may be potential for stratabound uranium mineralisation hosted by the Burrell Creek Formation. It is recommended that the weak uranium anomalies on the retained portion of the EL be investigated on the ground by scintillometer traversing and prospecting. It is recommended that the GA AEM flight line which crosses the retained portion of the EL be examined for the presence of graphite/sulphide bearing horizons and mineralised fault zones. The mineral commodities considered by OUM were uranium, gold and base metals.
