Year: | 2009 |
Author: | Fraser, WJ |
Abstract: | During the first year of exploration Outback Metals examined the previous exploration reports in detail and carried out modelling of the existing airborne geophysical data. Further work was delayed until the results of the GA AEM Woolner survey became available in September 2009. The GA AEM data is presently being interpreted as to the presence of potentially mineralised conductors. A field review should be made of the Brodribb Prospect and a more detailed perusal of the work done by Uranerz. Where accessible, representative rock chip samples of Koolpin Formation outcrops should be taken and assayed by a comprehensive geochemical scheme. The mineral commodities considered by OUM were uranium, gold and base metals. |
