Abstract: Exploration Licence 25702, Mt Hardy, forms part of the Mt Doreen Project, which lies within the Eastern Tanami region and is situated approximately 320 km northwest of Alice Springs. Exploration Licence 25702 was granted to Deep Yellow Limited (DYL) on 6 September 2007. The exploration programme sought to identify near-surface calcrete or sand hosted uranium, with secondary targets comprising tabular lignitic or redox traps within deeper basinal sediments. Exploration Licence 25702 was reduced from 58 to 29 blocks with effect from 6 September 2009. This report covers exploration of the relinquished portion of EL 25702 during the period from grant to 5 September 2009. Exploration carried out within the relinquished region of the exploration licence during the reporting period was limited to reconnaissance field trips.
