Title: Final report for EL 25888 Casey
Title Holder / Company: Mithril Resources
Report id: CR2009-0755
Tenure: EL25888
Year: 2009
Author: Jenkins, A
Abstract: Mithril Resources activities in the first year included a review of historical exploration and participation in infilling the 4x4km gravity data to 1x1km and 2x2km over the extent of the Casey exploration licences 25711, 25887 and 25888. The reason for infilling this gravity is to help determine potential mineralised structures and possibly accumulations of mineralisation (primarily copper) associated with the Bitter Springs Formation as seen at the nearby Pipeline Copper Prospect. During the second year of tenure, no field work was completed. An interpretation of the data from the gravity survey collected late in year 1 showed no compelling targets to follow-up and the ground was relinquished. During the period of the licence desktop studies were carried out with no ground work being completed. Therefore, there was no rehabilitation required on the licence area. For your reference the combined 2009 Annual Report for Casey ELs 25711, 25887 and 25888 for the reporting period 17 September 2008 to 16 September 2009, was submitted to your department on 13 October 2009. Mithril now gives permission for all of the data to be released as open file information.
