Abstract: | Atlas Geophysics project P2009005 required the acquisition and processing of 1702 regional gravity stations on behalf of Element92 Pty Ltd. The gravity survey was referred to as the 'Ngalia Gravity Survey'. The survey area was located approximately 150km north west of Alice Springs, in the Northern Territory. The company completed the acquisition of the dataset using exclusively helicopter-borne gravity methods. A single helicopter was used for the duration of the project. The survey commenced on 23rd June 2009. Acquisition was completed on the 29th July 2009. A total of 1,702 new gravity stations were gained during the survey. |
