Title: Final report for EL 26267 Askins for the period 7 March 2008 to 12 June 2009
Title Holder / Company: Emmerson Resources
Report id: CR2009-0589

Year: 2009
Author: Walters, A
Abstract: This Final Report records exploration work done on EL 26267 between 07 March 2008 and 12 June 2009. The discovery of the haematite-magnetite Chariot deposit in 1998 has shown the potential for variations on the classic magnetite ironstone hosted gold +/- copper deposits, where lower order magnetic anomalies, plus gravity methods can define new targets. Discoveries by Giants Reef of mineralisation such as at Malbec West, Marathon and Billy Boy further support this. Due to Emmerson's focus in the Tennant Creek Mineral Field, EL 26267 unfortunately did not have the adequate exploration required to determine the economic potential of the licence area during the reporting period, therefore Emmerson drafted an 'Expressions of Interest' and was distributed to companies operating and/or exploring in the immediate region. Emmerson received no firm responses and therefore the Licence was surrendered on 12 June 2009.
