Abstract: | The area was applied to explore for diamonds.Imperial Granite carried out a reconnaissance survey of the area, in which it was discovered that some considerable ground disturbance had been carried out in the past in an area of lateritic ironstone enrichment, but there were no other evidence of other mineralization. There were also no other signs of interesting outcropping mineralization. No samples were taken. The area was applied for to explore 5 circular photo anomalies in the belief that these anomalies could be related to kimberlitic intrusions. Work carried out by Imperial Granite and Flinders Diamonds indicates that this is unlikely, and therefore it was decided to surrender the EL Licence. |
