Abstract: 1ST Year - The area was applied for to test the potential for all minerals. One specific target was a reputed 3% Sn occurrence near Mount Mascotte. Work carried out consisted of a review of historic data and reports, a field reconnaissance and sampling trip was carried out in May 2007. Based on this reconnaissance, it has been decided that the first part of the next years work will be to do aerial reconnaissance using a helicopter, which will include sampling. The area is a mixture of open country and very hilly country, the hilly country being difficult to access by vehicle. The hilly country is where Imperial wishes to take a lot of samples. All reconnaissance traverses by foot or vehicle included the continuous use of a Scintrex Scintillometer. 8 samples were taken in the more accessable areas, however the supposed Sn Prospect in the vicinity near Mount Mascotte was too difficult to access, and it proposed to find this location by helicopter in the following year. 2nd and Final Year no work was carried out and after a review of the first year results it was decided to surrender the title. The area was applied for to test the potential for all minerals. One specific target was a reputed 3% Sn occurrence near Mount Mascotte. The first years work traverses indicated mildly elevated radioactivity (3 times background) in some areas. Rock Chip Sampling results were not sufficiently prospective to warrant further work during 2nd year of tenure.
