| Abstract: | Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics This is an early BMR report (1947/8) on the Northern Star Mine near Tennant Creek. The lease has been mined since the 1930s and its history and production are described. The general geology and that of the ore shoots are discussed. Ore Reserves and grade are calculated at 38,300 tons of ore at 12 dwt. Prospects for finding further ore are discussed. |
