| Abstract: | This report presents the information availabe on Kia Ora at Tennant Creek. Location, water supply, geology, history and production, the workings, ore estimate and values are discussed. Future underground development is recommended. The mine has been worked since 1936. Production to 1954 was 784 tons of ore with an average head grade of 22 dwts per ton. Gold appears over 150 ft by 25 ft. |
