Title: Annual Report on EL 25992 - Corella Lake
Title Holder / Company: Uramet Minerals
Report id: CR2008-0851
Tenure: EL25992
Year: 2008
Author: Magee, C

Abstract: The Corella Lake project area is located some 160 km by road from Tennant Creek. Several aerial radiometric uranium anomalies occur within the project area. The western most significant anomaly occurs over an area of 800 m by 350 m and is associated with a zone of ferruginisation identified from Landsat imagery at the intersection of a number of significant basement faults. Work in during the reporting period included field reconnaissance, soil sampling and scintillometer surveying. Interpretation of the results is ongoing. Further geochemistry and possibly auger drilling is recommended in order to explain the discrepancy between the U-channel on the aerial radiometrics and the geochemical results.
