Title: | Relinquishment report for EL 24467 Horseshoe Bend |
Title Holder / Company: | CSA Global Northern Mining |
Report id: | CR2008-0826 |
Tenure: | EL24467 |
Year: | 2008 |
Author: | Dhube, D |
Abstract: | EL 24467 is part of Northern Mining Limited's Finke project in Central Australia and is considered prospective for sandstone-hosted and Tertiary remobilised uranium and massive manganese mineralisation. The southern edge of the basin has been identified as an analogous setting to that which hosts the Angela uranium deposit in the north. Work done to date is only limited to a reconnaissance field trip which was undertaken to check the field expression of certain geological features and to liaise with the station owners at Horseshoe Bend. Two rock chips were collected elsewhere in the title which returned a low but slightly anomalous uranium result. A decision has been made to make a 50% reduction by relinquishing 125 blocks and retain the same number. |
