Abstract: Exploration of the tenement focussed on radiometric highs on the southwestern side(s) of the tenement, near the boundary line between the two pastoral leases. Upon walking the area, sandstone and siltstone subcrop and float were encountered in an area mapped as alluvium. The radiometric highs were walked with an Exploranium GR135 Plus gamma ray spectrometer, following flight lines but allowing for the likelihood that the anomalous radiation was sourced off-line. A total of 15 soil and five rock chip samples were taken and submitted for ICP-MS assay. The ICP-MS assay utilized a three acid digest followed by a determination of 51 elements. The ICP-MS assays gave uranium results up to 1.3ppm in rock chip samples and up to 3.75ppm in soils. These were much lower than the spectrometer determinations, possibly the result of incomplete digestion. Either way, the results are far below what is required for an economic uranium deposit.
