Various reports and correspendence, Wheal Doria and Peter Pan Leases for the period 1954 to 1979

Abstract

This is a compilation of Departmental reports and correspondence on the Big Ben - Peter Pan - Wheal Doria area. It includes published production figures from the Peterborough Battery in SA, other published information, various unpublished hand-drawn sketch maps and sections, a report by the Inspector of Mines dated May 1954, and drill logs spanning several decades. Most of this material was collated as part of the Department's evaluation of an application for drilling assistance in 1979.
