Title: | Annual report on exploration activities year 5 of tenure 19 August 2007 to 18 August 2008 EL 23771 Cox River West |
Title Holder / Company: | Gravity Diamonds |
Report id: | CR2008-0467 |
Tenure: | EL23771 |
Year: | 2008 |
Abstract: | Following the re-establishment of access to the area via existing station tracks rehabilitated during June 2007, a small grid of standard soil geochemical samples was undertaken. As a preference the drainages in this odd shaped tenement would have been sampled however reconnaissance exploration carried out via helicopter indicated that the tenement drainages had no potential for sufficient build up of gravels to take an Indicator Mineral stream sediment sample. Geochemical samples were obtained from the 'B' soil horizon where possible and identified (+- 20-30cm depth). Approximately 400 grams of -80# material was sieved from this zone and submitted to Ultratrace Laboratories, Perth for analysis. The survey (n=110 samples) was designed to cover a 2nd order Falcon / magnetic anomaly. |
