Abstract: | Lead was first detected in ore from No 6 Copper ore body at Orlando in may 1973. This caused metallurgical problems. An investigation found that 8700 tonnes of ore in the current workings contained 13% Pb. The lead may be related to the nearby Eastern Silver-lead-Zinc ore body. |
