Abstract: Results of previous exploration at Northern Star indicated the possibility of gold and copper mineralisation at a depth of 950 ft (290 m). A JV explored the leases and 14 holes were drilled, totalling 8521 ft (2597 m) of rotary percussion drilling and 4334 ft (1321 m) of diamond coring. Two gold-copper-uranium mineralised zones were located about 200 ft (60m) apart at depth of about 1000 ft (300 m). It was difficult to predict either the distributrion or quantity of mineralisation and no further work was recommended. Editors note: at least one hole appears to run >2000 ppm U over 25 feet with one five foot composite assay given as 6900 ppm (Amdel U) and 8150 ppm U3O8.
