Abstract: 06/03/1971 - The entire area of the AP has been mapped at 1:1000. Numerous outcrops of high level granites and their equivalent extrusives have been mapped and sampled. Results are being compiled in conjuction with the continuous regional mapping programme. 22/03/1971 - Two thirds of the AP were included in the low-level aeromagnetic coverage of the Gosse River AP. The large broad anomaly delineated was previously drilled for ADL by the NTA Mines Branch. 02/08/1970 - Low level aeromagnetic suvey expected to commence mid-April. Information on the recent Government drilling sent to NT Administration. 11/09/1970 - The NTA report on the diamond drilling programme has been received. An application for renewal of the AP for a further 12 months from its expirey date (22/09/1970) was submitted in June, 1970. Still awaiting commencement of low level aeromagnetometry on NE corner of the AP. 02/10/1970 - Low level aeromagetometry over the eastern portion of the area completed.
