Abstract: | This is a collection of various reports by Evans and Alexander on these APs which host known copper mineralisation. The poor state of roads and the lack of drinking water were early impediments to exploration. A second shaft was sunk from about 33 to 42 feet during the first quarter of 1968. Shafts and cross-cuts were cleaned out and examined for copper mineralisation by a consultant. During July 1968, the cross-cut was extended from 49 to 60 feet and a 10 foot drive was made. Unseasonable rain delayed surface exploration. |
