Title Holder / Company: Rum Jungle Uranium
Report id: CR2008-0101
Tenure: EL24866
Year: 2008
Author: Doyle, N
Abstract: EL 24866 is located 70km by road south of Darwin, between Darwin River and Batchelor, west of Darwin River Dam. During the second year of tenure, 84 air core holes were drilled for 2473m and an ortho-rectified air photo image of the area was purchased from Qasco Surveys. The drilling program was cut short due to the early onset of the wet season. No uranium mineralisation was intersected (from scintillometer scan) but target lithologies (graphitic schists) were encountered in air core drill holes. Assays are still to be received from the laboratory.
